In my first book I related the influence I felt from meeting Geoff Duke in 1950, after he had come second in the 350cc Junior then went on to win the 500cc Senior, both on Nortons. He gave some of his precious time to answering questions from a young lad, and I ended up with Geoffs back number (from his leathers) which still forms a centre piece in my Vast Collection.
Since 1950 he has often stopped to say hello and this page shows only handful of my many photographs of Geoff. I am quite pleased with the one of him and the Gilera, the year he "missed the Ton" by a whisker. (99.97mph !)
