THE VAST COLLECTION

I suppose that after 65 years I must have accumulated a few items from the TT.

Well folks, my loft is full, the cupboard under the stairs is full and the large cupboard in the dining room is full. Round my feet are items which I am presently using for research and a huge pile of photoCds, slide boxes and negative packs fill one of my bookcases. Even the bureau behind me has TT books, old motorcycle magazines and papers and printed off items from my websites.

As a consequence my electricity bill for heating is quite low thanks to the insulation afforded by my collection. It is like the Forth Bridge, I start at one end, go through it, the when I think I have got to end, I start again...Oh yes, I have just remembered that the blanket chest in our bedroom has press material in it as well...

Most people would consider it all rubbish but to a TTFan it is all useful, for friends to use in articles, to settle bets, to be able to supply photographs from way back.
